L’objectif dans ce projet était d’attirer une clientèle complexe et spécifique : les designers. Sachant que cette communauté artistique ne se procure pas forcement des produits ou des marques banales pour s’y associer, au contraire ils veulent des produits riches en réflexion et originaux conceptuellement, pour ensuite les intégrer à leur propre style. Toujours pour attirer cette clientèle nous avons opté sur une présentation artistique qui vise une fusion entre l’art et la mode. Dévoilé les œuvres textiles comme des œuvres artistiques vivantes, car elles sont faites pour être portées et usées… selon moi, c’est la meilleure façon de s’approprier une marque de vêtements pour l’intégrer à son univers.

Produce a tree dimensional design object, to help learning the idea of mechanism by making a simple one. The intention for this project was to fabricate a simple mechanism and experiment how we consider it and what is the purpose of it. I conclude that i would like to present a mechanism itself in an exploration of it. In artistic approach. Normally a mechanism is used to give a specific fonction or a power to a tool, but here the only purpose of this mechanism is to be itself and demonstrate what it does without its original context. By been an exploration i tried to mix different materials for the final design, to start learning working with different materials and making it work on one object in symbiose… Let try first.
This project is a collection of submissions from each student, in the form of book signatures, which all are bound together into an edition of books. The subject of this book concerns the typefaces that are being researched and presented throughout a type design course at Concordia University, and our contribution will present a creative interpretation of the research we’ve conducted for our typeface. The content for our signature explore graphic, and historical elements of the typeface in an informal or artistic form, with our graphic design work demonstrating a sensibility for this content as well as our own artistic voice.
